Healthy Nutella Nice Cream (Ice Cream)

It’s perfect as a healthy dessert, and a great idea to use on toasts or with fruit. You’d never guess it has dates instead of sugar!

So yummy!!

Healthy Protein Nutella Nice Cream

If you like Nutella you will love this recipe! I love it because it’s:

  1. Healthier than most Nutella recipes I’ve seen.

  2. Super quick and easy to make.

  3. Ingredients are mostly whole foods.

  4. It provides enough energy to use it as a pre-workout meal, which I do! It’s pretty filling.

Simple Ingredients

  • Hazelnuts

  • Cocoa powder

  • Bananas

  • Dates

  • Protein powder

  • Tahini

  • Coconut cream

  • Vanilla extract (optional)

Dates: I know dates can be hard to find in some countries, replace them with raisins if you can’t get dates.

Coconut cream: if you don’t like it, replace with avocado.

Hazelnuts: try to use hazelnuts that are relatively fresh, if they are a bit old, you won’t get the hazelnut flavor.

How to Make Vegan Nutella Nice Cream?

You need a food processor. I use a Ninja Blender for this type of recipe.

  • Throw everything in the food processor except the protein powder. Process until smooth.

  • Add the protein powder and process until it’s all mixed in.

  • Leave it in the freezer for 3 hours or overnight and enjoy!

  • Alternatively, you can store it in the fridge and enjoy it as a healthy Nutella spread on top of toast or fruit.

This Protein Nutella Nice Cream Is

  • Gluten free

  • Egg-free

  • Dairy-free (without butter)

  • Healthier than most Nutella nice cream recipes I’ve seen

  • Oil free

  • Refined sugar-free

  • Easy to make
